# Contact Safi

## Support and bug reports

Most questions are answered faster when the first message already has enough to reproduce the problem. If you can, include the following.

- The email address you signed in with
- Your device and OS version, for example iPhone 15 on iOS 18
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- A screenshot, if it is something you can see

## Getting your data out, or deleted

Write to us from the address on the account and ask for a copy of your data or for the account to be deleted. We confirm when it is done.

Deletion removes your accounts, transactions, budgets, goals and assistant history. It cannot be undone, and it does not by itself cancel a subscription, because the subscription is held by Apple or Google rather than by us.

## Billing and refunds

Safi Pro is billed by Apple or Google, so we cannot see your card, charge it, or issue a refund directly. Cancel from Settings on your device: on iOS your name then Subscriptions, on Android the Play Store then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves Pro active until the period you already paid for ends.

If a charge looks wrong, write to us anyway. We can tell you what the account shows and point you at the right refund form.

## Security reports

If you have found something that looks like a security problem, send it to the same address with the word security in the subject line and we will pick it up first. Please do not post it publicly before we have had a chance to answer.

## What we will never ask you for

Never send us your banking password, your full card number, or a one time code. Safi never asks for them, and nobody emailing you from Safi will either. If a message claiming to be from us asks for any of those, it is not from us, and we would like to see it.
