Safi. Last updated 4 August 2026.
These terms are the agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we", "us") for the Safi app. By using Safi you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Safi is a tool for recording and understanding your own money. You enter your accounts and transactions, or let the app read them from bank alerts you choose to share, and it organises and summarises them.
Safi is not a bank, is not regulated as a financial institution, and does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Nothing in the app, including anything produced by the AI assistant, is advice. Decisions about your money are yours. You need an account to use Safi. Keep your sign-in details secure, give us accurate information, and do not share your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, whichever is higher. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You keep ownership of everything you put into Safi. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you: to store your data, sync it to your devices, and process it to produce the features you use. We do not sell it. See the Privacy Policy for detail. You can export your transactions to CSV, and delete your account and its data, from inside the app at any time.
Safi has a free plan with limits on how many accounts, budgets, goals, recurring payments, imports and AI questions you can use. Pro raises or removes those limits and unlocks additional features. The limits in force are always shown in the app on the upgrade screen.
We may change the limits of the free plan. If a change would reduce what you already rely on, we will tell you before it takes effect. Data you have already created always remains readable and exportable to you, even if you return to the free plan.
This is optional and off until you enable it. You are responsible for deciding which messages or notifications to share with Safi, and for having the right to do so. Parsing is automated and imperfect: a message may be read incorrectly, or missed entirely. Always check imported transactions against your bank's own records. Safi's figures are not a substitute for your bank statement.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
We aim to keep Safi running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and we may discontinue the service. If we discontinue it, we will give you reasonable notice and a window to export your data, and we will refund any unused portion of a prepaid subscription where the law requires it.
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for financial decisions you make using the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury or fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes will be heard in its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have under the law of your own country.
We will notify you in the app of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Safi afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
