Net worth means the investments too
Cash in one app and holdings in another is two numbers you add up in your head. Safi puts them on the same chart and gives you one figure.
Investments
Screenshot on the way. The app changed too much for the old one to be honest.
One chart, both halves
Accounts opens on your total across cash and investments, with a chart you can drag through to any point in time and a switch to look at either half on its own.
A strip above your holdings shows how the portfolio is split between shares, metals and crypto, which is the question you actually have when you are wondering whether you are too far into one thing.
Tickers that are not American
Most portfolio trackers are built for United States listings and quietly fail on anything else. An Egyptian Exchange ticker returns nothing, or worse, returns a same-named American company and shows you a price that has nothing to do with your holding.
Safi looks up EGX listings properly, alongside global markets. If you hold both, they sit in the same portfolio in your base currency.
Profit, not just value
Record what you paid for an asset and Safi shows the profit or loss on it, and on the portfolio as a whole. A current value on its own tells you what you have. It does not tell you whether the decision was any good.
Adding an asset starts from the most widely held stocks rather than an empty search box, and your holdings open on shares before crypto.
- Five holdings on the free tier, unlimited on Pro
- Shares, funds, precious metals and crypto in one portfolio
- Collections, for cards or watches or anything else you own in a set, count toward net worth on Pro without one row per item
Questions people ask
Does it support the Egyptian Exchange?
Yes. EGX listings are looked up properly rather than being guessed at as American tickers, and they sit in the same portfolio as any global holding.
Can I see profit and loss?
Record your buy price and Safi shows the profit or loss on each asset and across the whole portfolio.
What are collections?
A way to track something you own in a set, such as trading cards or watches, as a single asset with its own photos. It counts toward net worth like any other holding without filling your accounts with one row per item. Collections are part of Pro.
How many holdings does the free tier allow?
Five holdings on the free tier, which covers most people's actual portfolios. Pro removes the cap entirely.
